Sometimes walking in the rain on a rainy day is a blessing in disguise.

If you need a bit of peace, taking a walk in the rain is a beautiful way to get it.

Always assuming there’s not a lot of traffic out.

No people to be seen, and even the birds are sheltering in tree branches.

Here and there, you can see a lazy drift of smoke, and gentle raindrops sheeting down.

With nothing and no one (out of the usual) to see in the empty streets there’s plenty of room for your thoughts to unfurl.

Cold and a bit wet, but also calm, quiet and peaceful.
