June 2019 Progress Report

June 2019

Due to a recent transplant rejection scare, I’ve lost track of June 2019. It took up a lot of brain power and time, but thankfully was just a scare. Though it’s really time to take myself in hand and make some changes.

I seem to recall I felt quite positive at the end of the month, and it amazes me that seems so long ago I can barely remember it.

I do remember there were exciting trips to the State Library Victoria to look at journals, and the Emerging Writer’s Festival which was interesting and educational.

Beauty: body
I enjoy exercising my lean, healthy 59 kg body several times a week.
โ€ข Eat < 5g of salt and sugar per day.
โ€ข Walk 10,000 steps per day.
โ€ข Sleep 8 hours each night.
๐Ÿ˜ฎ
70.5 kg
๐Ÿ˜
70.2 kg
Lost a wee bit of weight, not getting my steps up, nor sleeping very well.

Started researching nutrition again. This time I want to develop an implementation plan as well.
Beauty: presence
I have thick glossy hair that compliments my beautiful clothes.
๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™Got my hair cut into a bob, but was mistaken for a conservative at the Emerging Writers Festival and have since seen memes about Karen who wants to talk to the manager. Now I want to get something edgier…

Naturally, I developed a Conference Outfit.
Beauty: home
I live in a comfortable home that soothes my soul.
๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ˜A very busy month meant I could barely keep up with the housekeeping let alone progress any of my projects.
Beauty: garden
My garden is lush and abundant, providing habitats, weather protection and a mystical threshold.
๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜More winter tidying, still no sign of that garden plan.
Friendship: friends
I love meeting new people, and as I am friendly and outgoing, I make friends easily.
๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ˜One of my key hopes from the Writers Festival was to make some writing friends, and maybe start a group to support each other. So, I chatted, went out to lunch, handed out my business cards and now weโ€™ll have to wait and see if anything comes of it.

Wrote a Blitz Dinner Party.
Friendship: creatures
My creatures are happy and healthy and find my garden a haven.
๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚Poor pretty girl wasn’t happy while I was away. She got sick, and spent some time sulking in her kennel.

Happily our ring and bush tailed possums are thriving, as are the birds.
Friendship: contribution
I share my knowledge, time, and money with those who need it.
๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚Did some chatting at the festival…
Pleasure: adventure
I am brave and adventurous not afraid to try new things.
๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚As I mentioned, there was the Festival…

Wrote six short stories and thought about the logic of creativity.
Pleasure: recharge
I work hard and have the right to rest and recharge.
โ€ข Turn the computer off by 7 pm.
โ€ข Read 78 books in 2019.
๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚June’s books include; The Kiss Quotient, Alex, Approximately, How Not To Die, and The Killing Room.
Wisdom: growth
I learn and grow every day.
โ€ข Visit a historically or culturally significant venue or event each month.
๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ˜I’ve been wondering how to structure my time. And how to prioritise which projects to work on next. And writing applications for a couple of mentorship programs in the hope a professional writer can help me out with that.

Offered suggestions about preserving your private papers for posterity, and minding your business.

June 2019 in the productivity journal has many satsified stickers. Partly the short stories, and partly because I progressed some of my other projects.

How did you get on in June?
