2024 Stringybark Short Story Award Finalist

Just a quick note to let you know I came Highly Commended in the 2024 Stringybark Short Story Award!

And that my story “Witches Blessing,” is among the forty-one stories published in Crowd Surfing, the anthology containing this year’s finalists.

In particular, I enjoyed “The Great Prawn Heist,” by Rosa Li, “All the Birds Fly North,” by Tom Walters, and “In for a Penny,” by Thom James. I’m in good company!

Collections of short stories are always interesting, and with any luck, you’ll find more you like than you don’t. Have a read and let me know which ones you liked.

The ebook is available now, and they’re taking pre-orders for the paperback (expected in late July) at the Stringybark shop.

To celebrate, the Stringybark Short Story Award is offering 25% off the ebook (reduces the price to $2.75), until August 15 2024 with the code PJ97B.
