As you know, I have been planning to include pleasure in my life. This year, I am focussing on trying new things. One thing I’m trying is Haiku; an ideal indoor activity for when rain will fall. It is a traditional form of Japanese poetry, represented in English by three lines of five, seven and five syllables that you can read in a single breath. They use beautiful language to evoke moments of time and a feeling that you have the wisdom to understand the mysteries of the universe. I wouldn’t say I am very good at it yet, but I feel good enough to start sharing with you. This is the first, and I’ll be publishing one a month.
You can read more of my Haiku here.
Souls in darkness lie
Touched by light they rise and live
Thank you for your light
Thank you Ray, that’s beautiful.
