October 2021 marked the lifting of restrictions and the end of COVID lock downs. We were watching the vaccination rate increase, and I felt like a kid again, counting down the last couple of weeks before school broke out for the holidays!

So now, we can now travel as far from home as we want, and we can go out to eat. We took Clever Girl to the beach at the end of October 2021, and she was beside herself with excitement – so many dogs, and so little time

66.0 kg
I weighed myself – dropped a kilo over the last couple of months (67.1 kg in August).

Beauty: garden
My garden is peaceful (lush and abundant, providing habitats, weather protection and a mystical threshold)
Q1&2: finish the plan and start landscaping/planting.
๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚The bulbs are dying down, and the roses and other flowering plants are coming in. The bees and nectar loving birds are loving it.
Beauty: home
I live in a comfortable home that soothes my soul.
๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚With Covid restrictions lifted, we can make a start on some of the construction jobs that need doing. Still a couple of weeks before someone can come out.
Friendship: Friends
I love meeting new people, and as I am friendly and outgoing, I make friends easily.
โ€ข Make some local writer friends.
๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚Actually, I suppose I should start making some calls…
Friendship: Creatures
My creatures are happy and healthy and find my garden a haven.
๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™I think Clever Girl may have chipped a tooth, and I’m hoping her teeth will not be as bad as Jack’s were.
Friendship: Contribution
I share my knowledge, time, and money with those who need it.
โ€ข Write and publish stories.
๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ˜I’ve got so much to do, I’m quite behind on this.
Though I thought a little about aging.
Pleasure: Recharge
Read 104 books
๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Now 45 books behind schedule, and goodreads is recommending short books to help me reach my target. Only read two books this month, but to be fair, The Poppy War is a very long book.

feeling it. Not lo
Wisdom: growth
I learn and grow every day.
โ€ข Visit a historically or culturally significant venue or event each month.
๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚ We can start planning trips to those historically and culturally significant sites now!
Wealth: time
Write 653,236 words to complete my first million fiction words.
๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚Wrote 13,748 words in October, and started preparing Christmas Travesties for publication.
And in case you missed it, I got my voice back.

Australia Post is still having trouble getting the mail delivered, so I bought all my Christmas gifts and got them out. I’ve been feeling smug and satisfied having it done, and laughing a bit as people called to say they’ve got them.

Or maybe it’s that my quarterly review went well.

But now we’re heading into November, and I’m looking forward to hitting the strawberry and cherry farms. So exciting.

And that about sums up October 2021. How was yours?
