Wind Blows Fiercely

I love it when the wind blows fiercely. I’m just the right size to have to fight it; not so small I blow away and not so large I can easily resist it. And I love it when the wind whips my hair about my face and it seems as if my hair is trying to break free. Or throttle the life out of me. Or both! I love the way the wind gently kisses your cheeks some days and slaps you hard on others. Or throws things at you as if you have grievously offended it. Most of all, I love the way it blows the cobwebs out of my mind. I hope you enjoy this month’s Haiku.
