When times are tough (like now), it can help to acknowledge the good things we’re grateful for. Some days are harder than others, and on those days, I try to focus on the little things I’m grateful for. The everyday ones that I would suffer without.
Like the Hug Me bear (thanks again Mrs Sparkle)

Or this necklace inspired by Terry Pratchett’s character Granny Weatherwax.

That I was blessed to enjoy the company of two beautiful dogs.

And a husband who after 24 years, can still make me laugh. And is the dispenser of the best hugs.

The red linen tunic I bought on May 29, 2014 that is STILL going strong. Even though I keep thinking I should replace it before it malfunctions.

Home made pizza, burgers, hotdogs and meatballs.
Mmmm… Meatballs.

Flowers that pop up in the garden for a while and then disappear.

All the creatures that visit me,

That I could follow my dreams and write books. And stories. And poems. And this blog.

Big and small, there’s a lot to be grateful for.
What are you grateful for?
