September 2021 is best summed up by Dickens.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.

Charles Dickens, A Tale of Two Cities

September 2021 was when I gave up hope and reached rock bottom. But then I got my voice back, and everything went a bit manic because all I could do was write.

VirtueAugSepNotes
Beauty: body
I enjoy exercising my lean, healthy 59 kg body several times a week.
โ€ข Eat < 5g of salt and sugar per day.
โ€ข Walk 10,000 steps per day.
โ€ข Sleep 8 hours each night.
โ€ข Go vegetarian
๐Ÿ™‚
67.1 kg
๐Ÿ™‚
xx.x kg
I haven’t weighed myself.
But what I can tell you, is that I walked a total of 52.35 km in September, and my activity tracker promoted me from 65k steps per week to 70k.
And that I climbed 202 flights of stairs and descended 261, which isn’t bad considering I live and work in a one story home. I guess that shows exactly how hilly it is around here.
Updated my Winter Wardrobe plan, and planned my Summer Wardrobe.

Beauty: garden
My garden is peaceful (lush and abundant, providing habitats, weather protection and a mystical threshold)
Q1&2: finish the plan and start landscaping/planting.
๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚The garden is putting on a growth spurt, and to be quite frank, it’s getting a little out of control. But it’s been rainy and I’m not inclined to go out and get stuck in yet.
Beauty: home
I live in a comfortable home that soothes my soul.
๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚There have been a couple of good weather days when I’ve hung the quilts on the line to air, and opened all the doors and windows to get some fresh air in. Looking forward to a big post-lockdown clean out! Thought more about housekeeping than I actually did.
Friendship: Friends
I love meeting new people, and as I am friendly and outgoing, I make friends easily.
โ€ข Make some local writer friends.
๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚Still texting, still emailing, still looking forward to meeting people again.
Friendship: Creatures
My creatures are happy and healthy and find my garden a haven.
๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Clever Girl is not enjoying her diet, though she is enjoying exploring our neighbourhood more.
Friendship: Contribution
I share my knowledge, time, and money with those who need it.
โ€ข Write and publish stories.
๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ˜Found a new perspective on morning and evening routines.
Shared my short story Embracing Fate. Seeing as this post is so late, here my October story Waylon’s Way.
Pleasure: Recharge
Read 104 books
๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Now 39 books behind schedule, and feeling it. Not looking like I’ll be catching up any time soon.
โ€ข Chatter: The Voice in Our Head and How to Harness It โ€ข Quiet in Her Bones โ€ข
Wisdom: growth
I learn and grow every day.
โ€ข Visit a historically or culturally significant venue or event each month.
๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ˜ For the most part, I just felt stupid.
Wealth: time
Write 653,236 words to complete my first million fiction words.
๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ˜This is where it got nasty. I reached the point where I just couldn’t write any more. I was ready to quit.

I can’t say much about September 2021; just didn’t write anything much down. Pretty much just lists of things to do.

I know I went to the dermatologist and had some skin cancers frozen off. I know I watched some webinars. But there’s nothing in the book about them.

I’ve started writing in it again, so there will be more to say about October.

How was your September 2021?
