I think we spend too much time wishing we had done things differently instead of taking a look forward.

We torture ourselves about how much better our lives would be if we had not said or done some stupid thing or other.

We get stuck in endless loops of regret and a quagmire of self-reproach that prevents us from making amends or moving on.

Well, I say, now is the time to look forward in happy anticipation instead of backwards with regret.

Stop thinking “if only I had…” and start thinking “next time I will…”
