October 2018 Progress Report

October 2018 Progress Report

Well, October 2018 was easier than September, and that’s about all I can say for it. I imagine November will be easier too as we get better at living without Jack.

Virtue Sep Oct Notes
Wisdom

I learn and grow every day.

😐 🙁 Paid a few bucks on overdue library books I didn’t read yet. Need to get back into reading again.
Energy: Wellness

I enjoy exercising my lean, healthy 59 kg body several times a week.

I walk more steps each day.

😐
??? kg
😐
69.4 kg
Restarted yoga, and have a semi-regular walking routine for Pretty Girl. Who now has some new drugs to take.

I’m not sure if it’s a good or bad thing, but I renewed my friendship with coffee.

Energy: Presence

Plan a more energetic wardrobe

🙁 🙂 Got my hair cut at DB’s barber, and I like it much better. It’s much shorter, and it’s taking me a little while to get used to it.

Bought some new perfume, finished with my Winter Wardrobe and started thinking about my Summer Wardrobe.

Friendship: Friends

I love meeting new people, and as I am friendly and outgoing, I make friends easily.

😐 🙂 Met Katy for lunch, and got all excited about a Steampunk Dinner Party.
Friendship: Contribution

I share my knowledge, time, and money with those who need it.

😐  😐 I’ve been miserable and therefore insular. But many friends have sent me lovely notes and cards about Jack, so I feel loved.

Must try to get out more in November.

Prosperity: Leisure

I am brave and adventurous not afraid to try new things.

😐 🙂 Managed to finish short story #5 and entered it in a competition. I’ve started #6.
Prosperity: Household

I live in a beautiful house, with a tranquil garden.

Happy and healthy creatures and find my garden a haven.

😐 🙂 Finally got all my taxes done (yay), and explained how to do an Annual Review.Shared my thoughts about the place of Standard Practices in the home. And complained about the March of Progress.

A clever cockatoo has figured out how to get the lid off the seed box so we’ve had to bring it inside. And we found some Ring Tailed Possums having a nap in a shrub.

Jack’s remains came home and are sitting in my bookshelves looking over me. We received word that his mother was recently euthanised too.

And that’s October 2018. My productivity journal is full of missing days and lamentations about days that never quite got off the ground. Not many stickers. Aside from the amount of white space, it’s almost a normal month from that point of view.

Anyway, November’s a new month altogether. I’m assuming your October 2018 was more productive than mine.
