Even though I’ve been quiet out front, behind the scenes, I’ve been busy developing a new look site!

The old one’s been around for more than five years now, so it was definitely time for a refresh,

While I was redeveloping the new look site, I concerned about three main issues:

• increasing site speed
• the look, feel, and navigability of the site
• increase the similarity between the author and publisher sites. Especially given that’s where all my book sales will be concentrated.

Oddly enough, I found it easier to get the new look set up this time. Though this time I’ve stayed with the same host and I had more of an idea about what the hell I was doing. (Though how long I stay with this host remains to be seen).

That’s not to say there aren’t still a few glitches to be ironed out. But I’d say I’m about 92% of the way there.

There are a few problems here and there… I just don’t know where all those problems are yet, but I’m sure I’ll find plenty where I least expect them.
