March 2020 was a horror month.
There was/is all the Covid-19 shit going on, but more importantly for us, we had to say goodbye to Pretty Girl.
She leaves an enormous hole, but also the opportunity to consciously reshape our lives with better habits.
Plan and take an international vacation late Q3/early Q4.
|🙁||🙁||It’s beginning to look like day trips are off the agenda, let alone vacations. I’m just waiting to see what happens next.|
Read 78 books
|🙂||😐||Read a little, but not much • Ayurveda Lifestyle Wisdom • How to Treat People • Ayurveda • The Wheel of Healing with Ayurveda • Daily Rituals • Lawson’s Bend •|
I love meeting new people, and as I am friendly and outgoing, I make friends easily.
|😐||😐||I’m chatting online, but I miss talking to people. DB probably misses me talking to other people too.|
My creatures are happy and healthy and find my garden a haven.
|😐||🙁||Pretty Girl took a turn for the worse, and we had to euthanise her. I’m not sure why, but I’m not seeing as many other creatures in the garden either.|
I share my knowledge, time, and money with those who need it.
• Develop a charitable works programme.
|😐||😐||Katy mentioned she missed one of her favourite bloggers, and hoped she was ok. I’m sorry if my break worried you.|
I enjoy exercising my lean, healthy 59 kg body several times a week.
• Eat < 5g of salt and sugar per day.
• Walk 10,000 steps per day.
• Sleep 8 hours each night.
|Got as low as 67.9 kg (lowest since July 2018) and as high as 69.9 kg. All up a win.|
Have an appointment to have a skin cancer cut out of my face.
My garden is peaceful (lush and abundant, providing habitats, weather protection and a mystical threshold)
Q1: plan garden and start landscaping.
Q2: finish landscaping and start planting.
Q3: nurture and enjoy.
Q4: nurture and enjoy.
|🙂||😐||We’ve done a little garden maintenance, but no planning. Everything is shutting down so there’s next to nothing we can do to move the project forward.|
I live in a comfortable home that soothes my soul.
|😐||😐||I’ve had good days and bad days. Some days I do more than I’ve done for ages, other days I just make it worse.|
I learn and grow every day.
• Visit a historically or culturally significant venue or event each month.
|😐||😐||I stopped watching/listening to the news, except for once a day. I started deleting every email that includes covid variations in the subject. I feel less panicky and recommend you do the same.|
Turn the computer off by 7 pm.
|🙂||🙂||Managing to turn off the computer, and more recently, open a book instead.|
March 2020 is mostly missing from my journal, aside from research notes and sad stickers.
I wrote four short stories of 19,237 words. Plus spent many hours learning Photoshop and managed to produce a decent cover for the first short story I plan to publish.
Let’s all hope April 2020 is better than March was.
