It seems I have been too scatterbrained recently; I must refocus. Everything is sliding a little bit more towards the out of control side of the spectrum. I know I’ve been caught up in trying to get the website sorted, but am utterly astonished by how conspicuously I have lost the plot. And even worse, that the plot has moved house and I can’t seem to find it! Fortunately, I have a new Haiku about it for September.

Small doll on a pillar with the haiku; My vision fails me, foresight is blurring over, I must refocus

The original photo shows a small doll on a pillar with flags behind it c. 1914 – 1920 (unknown photographer). It was taken at the Hethersett Private Repatriation Hospital and is available with the permission of the State Library of Victoria.

You can read more of my Haiku here.
